Eileen Lee is a theatrical performer living in New York City. Born and raised in Florida in the St. Pete-Clearwater area, Eileen started studying dance at the age of four. They discovered their passion for musical theatre in their teenage years, and they haven’t stopped auditioning, rehearsing, and performing since!
With a foundation in dance, Eileen brings a strong sense of rhythm, physical storytelling, and commitment to ensemble-driven, collaborative work.
They are a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, where they received a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. While pursuing their degree, they received nominations for the Irene Ryan Award with the American College Theatre Festival for their performances as Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher and Dolores Dante in Working.
Their favorite credits include Cabaret (Lulu, Swing), Peter and the Starcatcher (Peter, Choreographer), Sweeney Todd (Beggar Woman), and The Prom (Assistant Choreographer).
Alongside the creation of new work, Eileen holds a deep reverence for the theatre of the 20th century, with a passion for exploring how timeless stories can be reimagined for a changing world and contemporary audiences.
Beyond the realm of theatre, Eileen enjoys a life full of activities that fuel their creativity, including photography, line dancing, making Spotify playlists, doing their makeup on the subway, and reorganizing their bookshelf (with their Lord of the Rings box set front and center, of course).
